Double Component Extra Flex Granite And Marble Adhesive Description

It is a two-component, high performance, extra elastic, C2TES2 class adhesive used for bonding large-sized, ceramic, granite, marble, porcelain and glazed porcelain ceramics. It has reduced slip feature and an extended open waiting period.

APPLICATION AREAS
It can be used safely in:

• Horizontal and vertical applications in interior and exterior spaces
• Bonding of large-sized granite, marble, tiles, glazed porcelain, porcelain ceramic mosaics
• Surfaces that require high elasticity
• Swimming pools, thermal pools, cold rooms and the places exposed to temperature differences.

APPLICATION METHOD
The 1 bag with component A (25 kg) Forcechem® Two Component Extra Flex Granite and Marble Adhesive is slowly poured onto component B of 6.5 kg and is mixed until it becomes pasty (mixing it with a hand mixer of 400-600 cycles/min gives better results). The prepared mixture rests for 5 minutes. Then it is mixed again and notched on the surface with a proper trowel. The material is laid on the surface with the help of a rubber mallet.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION FEATURES

• The surface should be clean, neat and free from paint and scraped plasters.
• The surface should be pre-moistened so it is wet.
• Avoid applying it under the sun.
• The working time of the adhesive is 1 hour.
• The use of gloves is recommended since it is a cement-based adhesive.

SECURITY MEASURES
The appropriate clothing for occupational health, protective gloves, goggles and masks should be used during the application. Due to the irritational effects of the material, it should be washed immediately with soap and water in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, a doctor should be consulted immediately. Food and drinking products should not be allowed near application areas. Store away from children’s reach. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for more information.

THE POINTS TO CONSIDER IN GROUT APPLICATIONS

• The grout should be checked prior to the application. The expired, lumpy or petrified products should never be used.
• The grout filling mortar should be prepared according to the instructions on the package.
• During the preparation of the grout filling, the dust should be slowly mixed with the amount of water as indicated in the information on the
  packaging and it should be mixed with a low speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. No additive that is not mentioned in the application procedure should be added.
• The grout filling should be prepared with the same consistency for the floor and the wall.
• The grout gaps should be cleaned before application and moisturized to prevent the grout filling mortar from
  losing its water real quick.
• The first wiping should be done after the filling of grouts, when the grout residues on the ceramic surface become blinded.
• The grout filling should be done properly, it must be paid attention that the dirt residues on the surface of the ceramic are not moved into the
  grout gaps.
• A slightly moistened sponge should be used for wiping.
